in the next version the font object has a font.setLayerDisplay(layerName, option, value) so you can alter the display options easily use double click or the "Close Contour" hot key assign a key combination to a script that is adding the current selection to the current Space Center good luck!

that is gone! It was completely confusing UI with very low functionality's. If you want to have support for swapping and copying layers around, I suggest to set a hot key for "Copy / Swap to layer" see http://doc.robofont.com/documentation/workspace/glyph-editor/ and http://doc.robofont.com/documentation/workspace/preferences/glyph-view/ (just adjusted the documentation) thanks

This will change dramatically when UFO3 gets implemented (don't know when yet...) RoboFont will follow the spec so components will refer to glyphs from the same layer.

With swap you move the current layer to an other layer. Flipping would also move the layer glyph to the source layer. The action menu in the layer inspector pane will be gone in the next version. but you can still use: g = CurrentGlyph() g.flipLayers("foreground", "background")

I think in version 1.4 this is still reversed (& hot keys cannot include arrows). Should I really move to the Southern Hemisphere?
