SOLVED Moving on-curve independent of off-curves, using arrows, maintaining ‘smooth’
-
Is there a way to do this? Currently
command
is allocated for this well with the mouse. But of course with arrows,command
can affect the increment.option
breaks the smoothness. VideoNot sure what a good solution to this would be.
TIA,
Ryan

this is now hard embedded: caps lock is a nice key as this key can be on without pressing it. Your hyper-key tool has picked caps lock for the same reason :)
-
Is there any way to assign a different key to replace the caps lock function in RoboFont?
I already use caps-lock as a "hyper" key in order to have more modifiers 😄

added to the Editing Tool docs.

Oh wow you already had it solved! Thanks Frederik, this is why I love the forum.
Just tried it and it works great. Only downfall I can think of is moving to Space Center or other apps, having forgotten to turn off caps-lock. Wish there were more modifiers, like you said! What if
control
was allocated to increments instead ofcomm
—oh wait I have this on my Mac, ha

@frederik this is great :)
@rbugden thanks for asking!

there aren’t enough modifiers :)
but RF can handle this: use the caps lock key to tell RF to use the arrows as if they where mouse events. see video
