Dragging .png onto glyph (v3.3)

Sometimes (but not always) when I drag a .png image onto a glyph, a popup window appears:

Update found.
External changes were detected in None None.
Update, Reject or Review changes.

If I choose Update, RF crashes.

This thread may be related. However, I haven't experienced this issue lately. Hope this helps connect some dots.

Could you provide a step by step instruction to produce this crash/error?

Does this happens for every image, glyph?
