Short Keys for Tools not working?

Hello,
In RoboFont Preferences > Short Keys, I've tried reassigning the short keys for Tools such as the Editing Tool, Drawing Tool, etc.

After applying those changes, the new Short Key that I've assigned appears in the Glyphs menu, but when I try to use the actual shortcut (select the tool by using a keyboard command), nothing happens.

Is there a reason this would not work?

Could you join the RoboFont slack community, where you can download the latest beta. I guess this is been resolved. There have been some changes to the shortcuts in the upcoming RF4.3 release.
