Preview layers in Font Collection window

Once the glyphs are displayed at a a large size in the Font Collection window, all layers become visible (nice!). But can this also be deactivated on demand?

I was more thinking of a preview hotkey as in the Glyph editor

This is not possible directly from the preferences.
but you could overwrite the glyph cell factory in the defcon object. And make your own glyph cell representation.
