Copy glyph with layers

just realized a strange behavior when a glyph with layers is copied.
lets say i copy "A" onto "B" in the font window. then i open the glyph window of "B" and the inspector shows "B" in the name field when i am in the foreground layer. but when i change to another layer it grays out the name and shows "A".
Also when I use getLayer(layername) in a script it shows Glyph A (layername).
is that intended to be like that?

no that is not intended :)
a bug in pasting glyph objects with all layer content
