Metrics Machine not working with Ver 3.3b

Metrics Machine not opening in Ver 3.3b. Gives this error during startup:

Installing 'MetricsMachine' report:
  Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "launch.py", line 6, in <module>
    ImportError: bad magic number in 'mm4': b'3\r\r\n'

Any solution?

Thanks @gferreira I have updated to ver 3.3 but Metrics Machine is not showing an available update on Mechanics. Is there another way of updating Metrics Machine?

hello @naorem,

this happens because the embedded Python was upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 – it’s mentioned in the release notes for RoboFont 3.3.

please upgrade to RoboFont 3.3 and to the latest version of MetricsMachine, and all will be good :)
