UNSOLVED [RF & Drawbot] Misleading cursor position in Scripting Window
@frederik ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Wish I knew what was causing it. This wasn't happening with my Mid-2015 MBP on High Sierra.
Im also on Operator Mono Book...
Similar issues have been reproduced with with Zeitung Mono, Operator Mono, IBM Plex Mono, Input Mono, Recursive. They visually kick back to the start of the line at different levels of indent and affect varying amounts of proceeding levels of indent.
Doesn't happen with Monaco, Inconsolata
what font was it?
this is strange behavior...
Thanks, @frankrolf. Changing fonts makes it go away. I wonder what in the font makes it behave that way.

I experienced this too, long ago.
I remember it had to do with the choice of your coding font.
Sorry, I wish I could be of more help in diagnosing this. Here's another machine experiencing this with DB
10.14.4. Let me know if there’s any other pertinent information I could provide; otherwise we could probably live with it. Maybe something to do with the machine itself / touchbar?
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2017)
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)(cited above)

I cannot reproduce the
word:example... (both 10.13 and 10.15)
You are sure there is no third party text replacement app interacting while typing?

It types in the correct position but appears to go to the beginning of the line. I tried typing
Enter. Only happens after the second
I cannot reproduce this on my 10.13 and 10.15 machine...
only alt+enter brings me back to the beginning of the line.
