    ANYWAYS,

TWas able to reproduce the problem after uninstalling and reinstalling Robofont and also downgrading from 3.4 to 3.3

    and my raw system log:

  • @er1chu I have the same issue; made the same mistake. any solutions?

  • Also getting this crash. From Console:

    tccd
    com.apple.TCC
    access

    Prompting policy for hardened runtime; service: kTCCServiceAppleEvents requires entitlement com.apple.security.automation.apple-events but it is missing for accessing={identifier=com.typemytype.robofont3, pid=6041, auid=501, euid=501, binary_path=/Applications/RoboFont.app/Contents/MacOS/RoboFont}, requesting={identifier=com.apple.appleeventsd, pid=387, auid=55, euid=55, binary_path=/System/Library/CoreServices/appleeventsd},

However it is not advised to upgrade if your primary app is RoboFont and slower fix will be posted early next week.

also read the statement here https://forum.robofont.com/topic/908/robofont-on-macos-11-big-sur

    Im sorry for the disruption.

  • I ran into an issue where the new 3.5 beta would crash on open (as above). I tracked it down to having used vanilla through the external_packages folder. Removing it allowed RF to open normally. I expect RF3.5 includes the newest version of vanilla that supersedes the prior version I had in external_packages.
